Wow, what a great job Gilmore did for this wedding! It was amazing, the food, Maggie and her staff, etc., I can't thank you enough! Everyone raved about the food! Thank you again for your partnership on such a successful event.
We told Natalie to let you know too how unbelievably amazing everything was last night. The food was beyond delicious. Absolutely everything was top notch! All the guests we spoke with raved about the food and said it was the best reception that had ever been to, and that is high praise coming from some pretty elite folks, lol! I'm sure you will see more events generated from your stellar performance last night! The staff, especially Rebecca and Shannon and of course Charlie we're a joy to work with and had every detail covered. Thank you again for everything, it was truly an amazing experience!
The day of the wedding was a very warm one and the ceremony took place in Dimnent Chapel, which is not air conditioned. When 250+ guests arrived at the reception, your staff was butlering beer and wine to assist the large number of thirsty people in line at the bar. They also brought drinks to the wedding party who were assembled downstairs before their entrance at the reception. Your staff was professional and very pleasant to work with. The meal, drinks, and wedding cake were served in a timely fashion to a very large group. Your staff handled it beautifully. Also, the pre-planning, taste testing, and final run through were well done. Any questions we had during the process were answered promptly.
We loved having our reception at the BOB! L3vel was a great room for our reception! We had about 130 guests and 14 people in our bridal party and it was a great space with plenty of room to dance! We used the side room as a game rooM which our guests loved. The interior was beautiful so we didn’t need much extra decor. After the reception was over, we went down to Bobarinos to continue the party! Such a fun venue!
My husband and I just had our wedding reception at The BOB this past Saturday. It was the end of a magical wedding experience as we were married in Italy. I wanted to write you and let you know how incredibly blessed we felt to have worked with Madeline. She was nothing but exceptional and answered all of our questions with patience and grace. She was always there for us and we never felt like we were a bother (even though at times I am sure we were!). It is obvious that Madeline loves what she does and is in the right business and The Gilmore Collection should feel so fortunate to have such a rock-star on their team. As a supervisor I know what it is like to only hear the bad so I wanted to reach out to you and make sure that you knew you had someone special on your team and you should be proud of her. I am a little sad that it is all over but I will have wonderful memories forever. You can be sure that I will be recommending The BOB, and Madeline, to others who are looking for a great venue place that knows how to treat their clients.
I would definitely recommend Gilmore Catering to my family, friends, and colleagues. Your staff was very friendly and working with them was a pleasure. The food and service were also very good. I am very happy with the experience and will highly recommend you to others.
I wanted to send a thank you and kuddos to the team at Gilmore Catering. From the beginning, we appreciated your and Barb's prompt responses, professionalism and industry expertise. You ALL were so great to work with and the food was outstanding. In fact, several guests are still commenting how delicious the food was. They also loved Jen behind the bar. The team led by Charlie couldn't have been more hospitable. Ryan and I have been in the service industry a very long time - we've never seen staff so attentive. I needed to leave my dinner for a brief moment and came back to it covered to keep it warm. The service staff was checking in with us to see if they could take empty glassware from us or if there was anything they could get us. These are just a few small things that made a huge impact on our day. Please share with the staff a huge thank you from us and to please keep up the great work! We will definitely recommend Gilmore Catering in the future.
Everyone loved the catering crew so much! There were so many nice things said! The food was amazing!! Everyone ate and we were all wildly impressed!! So I want to say a big thanks to all the lovely people that were a part of the preparation it was beyond wonderful! They even got right on it when we realized we had some miscommunication as far as the vegan meal goes & potatoes w/o pork. We made it work and it was lovely! I'm so grateful for all you did! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
From start to finish we could not have had a better catering service. We booked a few weeks before our wedding and Angela made the whole process stress-free. We were amazed at the presentation and service on the day of our wedding and the staff went above and beyond to make it the most perfect day. We cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us.

We had our rehearsal dinner here at Paddock Place and it was fantastic! It was so beautiful and our guests loved it! We decided to do a bbq/ comfort food theme buffet. The food was actually really delicious. We had a large selection of food and the pricing came to around $30/ person which was pretty reasonable. The servers were also very attentive and kind. Highly recommend.
We received SO many compliments on the food, and I personally scarfed down my entire plate, it was so delicious! In addition, I really appreciate your attention to detail and all of our thorough planning meetings and many (many) e-mails. We really enjoyed working with both Kim and Luke. Kim, you had so many helpful planning tips and I very much appreciate you being direct and helping us stick to our budget. Luke, you were so professional yet still fun at the wedding. You handled the keg situation with tact. I was so shocked we ran out of the first keg during the cocktail hour! Our friends were having so much fun :) And I'm glad that Andy was able to pay the bill for the extra keg. It was great that you had us identify someone beforehand at our meeting on Thursday before the wedding because it made that decision a lot smoother the day of. The bartenders and staff were so helpful and gracious. It was so nice that someone was able to carry my plate for me through the buffet and to my table. We also appreciated the cake cutting and placing on the buffet table! Overall, our day was better than we even imagined and Gilmore Catering was a huge reason for that. Thank you so much! Everyone knows food matters at a wedding. Gilmore Catering was beyond our expectations! Kim and Charlie were hands down the best caterers you'll find in the state of Michigan! For weeks after our wedding guests were telling us how much they enjoyed the food. Kim and her team cooked up a storm using lots of local produce! Charlie made sure everything ran smoothly and brought a smile and a good sense of humor. Kim was very accommodating, crafting a menu that fit our requests and preferences. Couldn't have asked for a better caterer!
We couldn't have asked for a better wedding reception thanks to everyone at the B.O.B that made it happen! Madeline was our event coordinator and helped with the reception and every detail leading up to the day. She was very professional and quick to respond to all of my questions. All of our guests were so impressed with the venue's location, service and the food. We had exceptional service and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and we had the perfect day. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride!
Everything was absolutely fabulous!!!! The guests couldn't stop talking about how great the food was, especially the salad, rolls, and potatoes, and how beautiful everything was. Charlie and his crew were absolutely amazing! I think you guys are so lucky to have him! And you were awesome, as well. You were so easy to work with and really helped us pull off a wonderful event. Angela answered all of my questions. I feel they went above and beyond our expectations. They listened and gave us everything we wanted and more. I will definitely use them again. The food was delicious and everyone commented on how good everything was. Highly recommend them.

Angela and the Gilmore team made our big day so special and we are so thankful! Angela answered every question and was so patient and accommodating with changes, additions, and dietary requirements. We received so many compliments on all of the food at the wedding, and the service was even more amazing! The servers were so attentive, and even put our food back in the warmer until we were able to sit and eat as the bride and groom. Everything was delicious, presented beautifully and served with attention and professionalism!
