We were very pleased with your staff and especially Charlie. The day and evening was close to perfection, we could not have been happier. Still cleaning up after the big party, we are all reflecting on a wonderful wedding. I received a multitude of compliments on the catering staff and more on the food! It was delicious, no exaggeration.
Angela answered all of my questions. I feel they went above and beyond our expectations. They listened and gave us everything we wanted and more. I will definitely use them again. The food was delicious and everyone commented on how good everything was. Highly recommend them.
Gilmore was so great! Our guests were raving about the food, and working with Kim & Charlie was such a delight. They took all of our wishes and ideas and made them happen deliciously, and we’re super Covid-conscious and had a lot of ideas on how to make our wedding safer without feeling like a lame conference. We would 100% hire them again.
We had a rehearsal dinner with the pizza buffet for our wedding guests. All of the different pizzas were delicious! They were able to make a special order gluten-free pizza for a member of the bridal party, who said later that it was the best gluten-free pizza she’s ever had! The service was impeccable and the venue is beautiful!
My husband and I just had our wedding reception at The BOB this past Saturday. It was the end of a magical wedding experience as we were married in Italy. I wanted to write you and let you know how incredibly blessed we felt to have worked with Madeline. She was nothing but exceptional and answered all of our questions with patience and grace. She was always there for us and we never felt like we were a bother (even though at times I am sure we were!). It is obvious that Madeline loves what she does and is in the right business and The Gilmore Collection should feel so fortunate to have such a rock-star on their team. As a supervisor I know what it is like to only hear the bad so I wanted to reach out to you and make sure that you knew you had someone special on your team and you should be proud of her. I am a little sad that it is all over but I will have wonderful memories forever. You can be sure that I will be recommending The BOB, and Madeline, to others who are looking for a great venue place that knows how to treat their clients.
Staff was amazing! Also had a problem with rental company on plates but Gilmore stepped up to save the day. Very impressed with the service and food.
Amazing staff and service! We have received multiple comments from our guests about how beautiful the event space was, how great the food was, and how both bartenders seemed to remember everyone's drink order. My husband and I wish we could take credit for the success that our wedding was, but truthfully it was just about all Baker! We would highly recommend to anyone looking to host an event.

We could not have asked for more! First, Thank you Angela for your time & patience with both Allie and myself. I really appreciate your getting back to us quickly. Gilmore Catering was fabulous! Ondi was incredibly sweet, fun, witty, calm, very positive & most of all informative. We walked the venue asking Ondi all kinds of questions to which she wrote everything down & answered our questions. The day of the wedding, Ondi was spot on. She was literally from one end of the venue to the other taking care of everything. She worked very well with all of her staff out front and at the bar. Ondi was literally running all night, making sure we were following our timeline. As sweet as she is, she works very well with everyone, delegates & takes on issues herself. A complete asset to your Company. As I said before, she is a keeper!
Everything about our wedding reception in Saugatuck was amazing. I can't begin to tell you how thrilled we were with everything. Kim was fantastic to work with and Charlie was absolutely incredible. I was truly impressed, as were all of our guests; you made it seem effortless. And the food! Every single person that attended the wedding told me the food was fantastic.
As we were working with Gilmore from Europe and Africa, we were pleased to find that they were extremely professional and well-organized, despite our time and distance differences in the lead-up to the event. We felt well taken care of for our wedding and the food was amazing!
Everyone loved the catering crew so much! There were so many nice things said! The food was amazing!! Everyone ate and we were all wildly impressed!! So I want to say a big thanks to all the lovely people that were a part of the preparation it was beyond wonderful! They even got right on it when we realized we had some miscommunication as far as the vegan meal goes & potatoes w/o pork. We made it work and it was lovely! I'm so grateful for all you did! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We are extremely pleased with our choice of Gilmore Catering for our wedding day at Felt Mansion. Charlie, our event manager, is a master at what he does and the serving staff was friendly and knowledgeable. So many special touches like a server carrying my plate back to the table for me, one of the servers pulling out my grandmother's chair for her, the team cleaning the chargers when that was not in their job description, and so much more. We received many compliments on the food and the service. I was also impressed with the pre-planning; Angela Shea worked so well with me as an adviser, kept me on a timeline, advised great food options and portions, and contributed greatly to the success of the day. I could not have imagined going with any other catering company for our wedding day.
I wanted to send a thank you and kuddos to the team at Gilmore Catering. From the beginning, we appreciated your and Barb's prompt responses, professionalism and industry expertise. You ALL were so great to work with and the food was outstanding. In fact, several guests are still commenting how delicious the food was. They also loved Jen behind the bar. The team led by Charlie couldn't have been more hospitable. Ryan and I have been in the service industry a very long time - we've never seen staff so attentive. I needed to leave my dinner for a brief moment and came back to it covered to keep it warm. The service staff was checking in with us to see if they could take empty glassware from us or if there was anything they could get us. These are just a few small things that made a huge impact on our day. Please share with the staff a huge thank you from us and to please keep up the great work! We will definitely recommend Gilmore Catering in the future.
We just had our wedding at The L3vel at the B.O.B. and Charlie was our manager that night for Gilmore Catering, and I can honestly say I have no constructive feedback for him or his team. They did a perfect job. The bartending was stellar, the food was amazing, and Charlie did an amazing job keeping everything on time that night. Couldn't have asked for better food, and I got several compliments on the food, and a few of the guests said "it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding, EVER!" Great job Gilmore and The B.O.B. for making our day so very special!
My husband and I had our daughter's wedding reception at Eve in The B.O.B. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. Not only is it affordable, but they also offered a wonderful addition which most venues do not: Our event came with a dedicated manager by the name of Charlie Harmon. He was such a kind, compassionate professional and really the best at what he does. The food was amazing, and the best part of the evening was the ambiance. The way the room is designed to get people up and moving. We had the time of our lives!
The food was amazing! Charlie was a great manager. He and his team got the food out on time, served guests, refilled waters, cut cake, and had great communication throughout the night. Highly recommend this catering company!
I have photographed two weddings at the top floor of the B.O.B. in downtown Grand Rapids (which is overseen by Gilmore Catering), and I have always been impressed. First of all, the place is beautiful. From the skywalk leading into the space, to the wide views of downtown, and the beautiful lighting, everything is perfect. Furthermore, the staff is always excellent, super polite and helpful. Being there is always a treat, and whenever anyone asks me for recommendations for wedding venues in Grand Rapids, I always say the third floor of The B.O.B. I can't recommend it enough.
