First of all, I just wanted to send a quick note letting you know how much we enjoyed the food at our wedding! Everyone was beyond impressed with the caliber of service, and with the quality of the food. I'm still dreaming of the salmon, and luckily I was able to snag one of each of the appetizers and they were all beyond delicious.
All of the food was amazing! Guests keep telling us how great everything tasted. Brandon and I both agree that it was delicious!
The food was excellent. Our guests raved about the omelets—in fact, many said they were the best they'd ever had. The belinis were delicious and the guests all raved about the passed appetizers.
I wanted to send a thank you and kuddos to the team at Gilmore Catering. From the beginning, we appreciated your and Barb's prompt responses, professionalism and industry expertise. You ALL were so great to work with and the food was outstanding. In fact, several guests are still commenting how delicious the food was. They also loved Jen behind the bar. The team led by Charlie couldn't have been more hospitable. Ryan and I have been in the service industry a very long time - we've never seen staff so attentive. I needed to leave my dinner for a brief moment and came back to it covered to keep it warm. The service staff was checking in with us to see if they could take empty glassware from us or if there was anything they could get us. These are just a few small things that made a huge impact on our day. Please share with the staff a huge thank you from us and to please keep up the great work! We will definitely recommend Gilmore Catering in the future.
Everything about our wedding reception in Saugatuck was amazing. I can't begin to tell you how thrilled we were with everything. Kim was fantastic to work with and Charlie was absolutely incredible. I was truly impressed, as were all of our guests; you made it seem effortless. And the food! Every single person that attended the wedding told me the food was fantastic.
My husband and I had our daughter's wedding reception at Eve in The B.O.B. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. Not only is it affordable, but they also offered a wonderful addition which most venues do not: Our event came with a dedicated manager by the name of Charlie Harmon. He was such a kind, compassionate professional and really the best at what he does. The food was amazing, and the best part of the evening was the ambiance. The way the room is designed to get people up and moving. We had the time of our lives!
The day was absolutely perfect!!! First, I will start by saying the service was great! On to dinner...All of the food was so great, but that roasted pig was AMAZING!!! We received non stop compliments on dinner all night long. One person even told us not only was it the best wedding meal they'd ever had, but possibly the best barbecue also! To say dinner was a hit, I think is an understatement! The only issue we ran into was that we ran out of plates halfway through people going back for seconds, guess we didn't know it would be such a hit!! (And I think everyone was pretty much done with seconds by the time I noticed anyways, so not a huge deal.) We cannot thank you and the Gilmore team enough for the fabulous meal! Will definitely recommend the pig roast to anyone getting married in the Grand Rapids area!
Gilmore did an absolutely wonderful job. The food was excellent. The service was spectacular. Everything from start to finish. My initial email was answered promptly. Angela and Lori were great to work with. My expectations were blown away! What a team!
Everyone knows food matters at a wedding. Gilmore Catering was beyond our expectations! Kim and Charlie were hands down the best caterers you'll find in the state of Michigan! For weeks after our wedding guests were telling us how much they enjoyed the food. Kim and her team cooked up a storm using lots of local produce! Charlie made sure everything ran smoothly and brought a smile and a good sense of humor. Kim was very accommodating, crafting a menu that fit our requests and preferences. Couldn't have asked for a better caterer!

Gilmore Catering has a reputation for being the best which is why we use them anytime we need a caterer. So when it was time to plan my wedding, it was a no-brainer that they would be handling our reception. The whole team is so easy to work with and they bent over backwards to make sure everything was amazing for our special day. Even when issues with the menu or venue policies arose, the necessary adjustments were quickly made without additional costs to us. The one thing you know for sure when hire them is the meal will be great! From the initial planning of the event to the servers at the reception, everyone associated with Gilmore Catering made it their personal mission to ensure that my wedding day was perfect. If you are having an event in Grand Rapids or West Michigan and don't hire them, you are crazy!
Angela answered all of my questions. I feel they went above and beyond our expectations. They listened and gave us everything we wanted and more. I will definitely use them again. The food was delicious and everyone commented on how good everything was. Highly recommend them.
Our event went so well! Everyone at Baker Lofts/Gilmore Catering was so helpful and understanding throughout the entire process. They made it very easy for us to make changes and were so accommodating. My husband and I would recommend them to our friends and family looking for a venue or catering service. I wanted to reach out to say how fantastic Felicia Dykema is. My daughter and I met with her several months ago to reserve a room for my daughter’s rehearsal dinner that was rescheduled a couple of times because of COVID. From our initial meeting and several emails since then, Felicia has been super professional, easy-going, nice to work with, and very responsive. Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the rehearsal dinner and are grateful that Gilmore Catering is being flexible and will return our deposit. I just wanted to thank you and say that Felicia does a really nice job representing Paddock Place.
Thank you, and thanks for everything that you did for us. As stated Saturday evening, everything was great. Compliments to the chef and a big thanks for accommodating our menu. Food was delicious. We also would like to compliment the staff. They were very attentive, and polite to our family and guests! We will definitely be spreading the word about L3vel.
It was the most perfect day! Everyone at Paddock Place went above and beyond to make sure everything was amazing, and Nicole Dingman Photography was so easy and fun to work with! I wouldn't have changed a thing for our special day!

We loved having our reception at the BOB! L3vel was a great room for our reception! We had about 130 guests and 14 people in our bridal party and it was a great space with plenty of room to dance! We used the side room as a game rooM which our guests loved. The interior was beautiful so we didn’t need much extra decor. After the reception was over, we went down to Bobarinos to continue the party! Such a fun venue!

Your venue is gorgeous - the food is delicious - and your service is outstanding. We loved every part of this experience. I cannot tell you how many people told us that the food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. There were so many people, as well, who had never heard of this venue, and everyone truly loved it! The set up was AMAZING! Thank you, so much, for taking the time to make things absolutely perfect. Luke, you were great to work with Friday night. You were so accommodating and had absolutely everything under control. Your professionalism is so appreciated, and I just have to say that it really was outstanding.Each of you helped make this day absolutely perfect.
