If you've had the good fortune of eating at one of the restaurants in The B.O.B. or attending one of our catered events, you've enjoyed the culinary talents of el jefe, aka Executive Chef Mick Rickerd.

A home state guy, Mick grew up in Byron Center and spent summers in Traverse City. He honed his craft for detail as executive chef with one of our competitors (we don't discuss that), operations manager at the posh English Hill Country Club, and director of convention services at Double JJ Resort. He'll work closely with you to craft a sensational menu for your social or corporate event that will maximize your budget and everyone's satisfaction.

His favorite food is anything prepared for him by someone else, especially if it's BBQ. And when he's not at the helm of our catering ship, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters fishing, cooking, gaming, or anything else that makes them happy.
