The Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts' brand new facility is Michigan's largest contemporary arts center and a dynamic laboratory for the advancement of the art of our time. Through compelling exhibitions, presentations, studio programs and youth development, the UICA actively challenges both artists and audiences to new levels of dialogue, creative pursuit, reflection, and illumination.
Now open to the public, Phase I of UICA's new facility, on the southwest corner of Fulton and Division, allows us to present an even more dynamic array of contemporary art, new media, and experimental design/architecture projects.
